PHOENIX Contact has expanded its glass fibre optics product line to include the M12 circular plug connector.
According to the company, it is now possible to fit indoor, flex and outdoor cables in variable lengths with all available connectors. Customised solutions are also available.
Cables and connectors with different interfaces and options can be combined to be used in a variety of applications, from IP20 solutions for offices to IP67 variants for rugged industrial envionments.
In addition to providing high data transmission rates, fibre optics can be easily installed in potentially explosive areas and is not susceptible to electromagnetic interference.
